🇺🇦 Meet Ukrainian Veterans & Hear Their Stories 🇺🇦
Join Shield of Freedom for a special evening with Ukrainian veterans, advocates, and friends of Ukraine on October 3 from 7:00–10:00 PM at Kilowatt Brewing in Kearny Mesa.
This unique evening will bring together representatives from organizations working to support Ukrainians affected by the war. A veteran from each participating organization will speak and share their personal story, offering a firsthand perspective on service, sacrifice, recovery, and life after the battlefield. The highlight of the event will be a Q&A by representatives of Brave Children of Ukraine: Mykola Melnyk, Denys Haida & Oleh Bonchynskyi.
In addition, the guests will have an opportunity to meet a representative of Protez Foundation and a Ukrainian veteran currently in the United States for prosthetic treatment who will share his journey of injury and rehabilitation.
Come meet these remarkable Ukrainians, hear their stories, ask questions, and connect with others in the San Diego community who stand with Ukraine. Some heavy appetizers are included in the ticket. All proceeds for the tickets go to Brave Children of Ukraine.
